"Titip absen" was office folklore. Appsen retired it.

In Indonesian offices, asking a coworker to clock in for you is practically tradition. Appsen ends it — every check-in requires your own face and your own location, timestamped. One tap for the employee. Full visibility for HR.

The Problem

Attendance systems trust the honor system. Fingerprint machines only work at one office. Paper logs get "corrected" later. And for companies running multiple branches across multiple timezones, HR has no way to know who was actually where — until payroll disputes make it everyone's problem.

The Solution

A multi-tenant attendance SaaS where clocking in means taking a selfie with GPS locked — from the employee's own phone. No badge to lend, no fingerprint machine to queue for, no way to send someone in your place. The record lands on HR's dashboard in real time, face and location included.

What I Built

  • Selfie + GPS check-in flow — open camera, tap capture, location locks, attendance recorded in seconds
  • Multi-tenant architecture scoped per company, per branch, per timezone
  • Leave, sick, and overtime request workflows with HR approval chains
  • Real-time admin attendance dashboard — every record shows the selfie and the location
  • Spreadsheet exports ready for payroll
  • Demo mode so companies can try the full flow without registering
  • Laravel backend + Vue frontend

The Result

Buddy punching is physically impossible. HR stops chasing paper and starts trusting the data.
